Engineered Wood

Engineered Wood Siding -"SmartSide" is an extremely durable and maintenance free product, which is why this type of siding is popular among most builders of new houses today. The SmartSide that we use at Weather-Tite is finished right here in is Rapid City, and comes with a 30-year limited warranty.
Fiber Cement Siding- is made from a combination of wood pulp and concrete. Unlike wood products, it is resistant to bugs, fire, and rot, giving peace of mind to you as a home owner. Typical manufacturers put a 15-25 year warranty on Fiber Cement siding.
Natural Wood
Cedar- is the most common natural wood used for siding. Wood siding does require a little bit of care every year to preserve it, but it’s almost impossible to mimic that cedar siding look with any other product. Weather-Tite is fully equipped to install this unique esthetic to your home, as well as educate you on long term care!
Vinyl
Vinyl siding- is an affordable siding option that is 100% water proof unlike wood and fibercement sidings. One of our favorite siding products is the Prodigy insulated vinyl siding. Unlike tradition vinyl siding, Prodigy comes with a Class 4 hail rating for impact resistance.
Steel
Steel siding -is a great option for homes in the Black Hills. Bugs and wood-peckers do not damage steel siding the way they do with wood siding; an obvious benefit for our area! All steel siding products carry a Class A fire rating.
